Whinnie-Muir at Roots Cellar
Whinnie-Muir will be playing at the Roots Cellar (basement of University Baptist Church in Dinkytown) on Saturday, February 22nd @ 7pm. Tickets $15 GA or $10 Students/Seniors.

Whinnie-Muir is a traditional usually unaccompanied singing group comprised of John Wenstrom and Robin Murie with their daughters Rebecca and Jess. Specializing in close harmony singing, Whinnie-Muir interprets traditional songs from a variety of English-language traditions, choosing songs that delve deeply into the human experience. These are heart-felt stories with raw emotions that chatter the teeth of the soul. In the words of Charles Ives, "You can't get to heaven with all those pretty little sounds."

Bus routes are a block away and parking is available in small lots next door, paid lots around dinkytown, and street parking as well.
