The Bounce Quintet
The Bounce is a New York-based elastic band lead by rising jazz trombonist and composer Gina Benalcazar (Rufus Reid Big Band, Etienne Charles Big Band, Ulysses Owens Jr Band, among others). Putting together this ensemble, her most heart-felt goal is to provide the audience with a choice of music that honors the past, present, and future of jazz, proving that the music is still breathing and very much alive!
