The workshop will include: The history of popular cider styles, a tasting from Phil's private stash, as well as a commercial example, a technical talk on cider fermentation, a primer on adding herbs/spices to your cider, and all of the materials you need to your own one gallon batch of cider.
What's included:
- All the equipment you need to make 1 gallon of hard cider from locally sourced orchards.
- Samples of various homemade ciders you can't find in stores or bars.
- A one hour hands on training filled with tips and tricks from top local cider makers.
Every attendee will receive:
1 Gallon Fermentation Jug 1 One Way Airlock & Stopper 1 Packet of Premium Yeast (several brands and styles will be made available) 1 Gallon of Locally Pressed Juice 1 Packet of Yeast Nutrient 1 Food Grade Transfer Hose 7 Secondary Ingredients to choose from to make your cider unique (cloves, cinnamon sticks, rose hips, hops, citric acid, candied ginger, etc)
