An Afternoon of Burlesque Art

The Bottom Line Burlesque & Comedy Troupe is excited to bring "An Afternoon of Burlesque Art" to Historic Downtown Hillsborough.

Join Troupe members at Yonder Bar for an afternoon of Burlesque-themed models. Artists provide their own supplies.

This event is open to everyone who is interested in Live Model Figure Drawing. Yonder offers a very cozy, comfortable space. The Bottom Line Burlesque & Comedy Troupe will provide the model(s) as well as the time moderator. We will watch the clock, so you can keep your focus on your drawing. This is not a teaching class, but an opportunity for you to use and expand your skills and talents in a very welcoming atmosphere.

The afternoon session will be timed in the following segments:
2 minute warm up pose/draw
5 minute warm-up pose/draw
10 minute pose/draw
10 minute pose/draw
10 minute pose/draw
Finishing the session with either two more ten minute poses or one 20 minute pose/draw, contingent on the model and artist decision.

Please, bring your own supplies, in your preferred medium and set up at any of the numerous seating areas or bring your own easel.

Doors open for this event at 2pm, with the first pose by 2:30. A ten minute break will be offered before the final twenty minute segment.

Pre-registration is required. Tickets are only $5 for Yonder Members and $10 for Non-members. Please note, this is not a *total-nude* model event.
