Judith Ren-Lay: "Crone of Thorns" Presented by TWEED.

Cloaked in fabric of varying colors and designs, Judith Ren-Lay spins her voice and writing to create a dynamic vision of life as an older woman, having lived through 7 decades of performing in New York City. Featuring songs from her Stealth Songbook - Born, Too Much Emotion, Falling, Metaphysical Jungle, Gun On The Table, Strung Out, Hairsplitter, Needy We, Holy Land, Big Baby, WWIII, Time Is Our Freedom, Hunter, Reality.

Judith Ren-Lay is a multi-discipline artist who has produced work in dance, performance, music, poetry, photography, collage, drawing and sculpture as well as costume and set design for her signature solo pieces. Since 1978 her work has been part of New York's performance world, and is archived at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts. This is her return to performance after many years recovering from a run-in with a speeding cab.
