"An Intimate Evening with Stephan Said"
Internationally Acclaimed Singer, Songwriter, Activist and host of the new docuseries, borderless, Stephan Said, will debut his latest material with a small ensemble and special guests before an intimate audience at Pangea on October 29. Said, called "this generation's Woody Guthrie" (Billboard) says "this material is different than anything I've done before - it's almost all written on piano, is very emotional and melodically expressive. I want to sing and play all these songs publicly for the first time in a setting where I am close to everyone, really sharing it with them."

Stephan Said is an internationally acclaimed musician, writer and activist, and the host of borderless. His songs have helped build social change movements across the world, from the Seattle Demonstrations to the Arab Spring, from police brutality to the climate change movements. His song The Bell, was hailed as the antiwar anthem of this generation," and artists including folk legend Pete Seeger, DJ Spooky, Patti Smith, Dave Matthews and more have sung his songs. He has been featured in the New York Times, Billboard Magazine, The New Yorker, TIME, NBC, BBC, NPR and more.

"This generation's Woody Guthrie."  Billboard Magazine

"Ask which musicians made the greatest political statements of the past 50 years and names such as John Lennon, Bob Marley and Bob Dylan will likely come to mind. Yet to that esteemed list we add Stephan
[Said]."  Athens Magazine

"Stephan [Said], with his reedy voice, acoustic guitar and earnest topical songs such as The Ballad of Abner Louima (with Patti Smith), recalls Bob Dylan in his early days."  Jon Pareles, The New York Times
