ABOUT PETER MAYER:
Peter Mayer writes songs for a small planet - songs about interconnectedness and the human journey and about the beauty and the mystery of the world. Whimsical, humorous, and profound, his music breaks the boundaries of folk and transcends to a realm beyond the everyday love song to a place of wonder at the very fact of life itself.
Originally a student of both theology and music, over time Peter found himself increasingly drawn to music as his life's path. He has been a full-time, professional musician since 1995, but his music often still incorporates themes of mystery, meaning, and wonder drawn at least in part from his spiritual leanings. Peter has gradually gained a dedicated, word-of-mouth following over the decades, playing shows from Minnesota to Texas and from New England to California. He has 9 CDs and has sold over 70,000 of them independently
