Three leading edge improvisors steeped in jazz, electronica, drum and bass, and other contemporary styles, assemble for a rare engagement at ShapeShifter Lab. The trio's individual members carry associations reflecting a wide range of modern music, including David Bowie, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Avishai Cohen, Donny McCaslin, Randy Brecker, Wayne Krantz, Uri Caine, and Chaka Khan, among many others.

Starting as a jazz-meets-hip-hop jam band with a loosely-defined membership, Bright Dog Red has become a fixture on the NYC jazz and improvisation scene (Jazz Journal).
