NTNT (Ninja Turtle Ninja Tiger)
Live Electro Synth Pop Band
https://www.facebook.com/NTNTmusic
https://soundcloud.com/ntntmusic

"If you could bottle the energy of a teenager before school and life and hormones twist it, and channel that energy into a single, specific endeavor, you might come close to the limitless exuberance of the lead singer of NTNT. There were times, throughout the set, when the drummer seemed nervous or the guitarist a bit timid, and all it took was one grin from the lead to infuse them with confidence.

Overall, NTNT seemed really into their music and performance, in a way that was infectious. So infectious, in fact, that a middle-aged man was moved to hop in front of the crowd and rock out dancing right in front of the stage.

I had always wondered what injecting dance music into rock would sound like, and NTNT satisfied that curiosity. With a much heavier, more intense live sound than their EP or album would indicate, NTNT brings an enjoyable grit and intensity to dancey indie rock. A few songs in the set were really unpolished, though it was unclear whether that was due to the spotty sound system or something off with the syncing of the band. I suspect a little of both. Most of their songs, however, were magnetic and humming with the call to participate.

Then again, with a lead singer who hops into the crowd clapping his hands, it's hard not to feel called to participate. And in some cases, that participation If you're in need of a little jolt, I'd suggest checking out NTNT." -Lauren Rother Review

ALEX LIGHTSPEED (Pulsar, Move Music, TRXX)
https://www.facebook.com/DJAlexLightspeed
https://soundcloud.com/alexlightspeed

Quickly becoming known as Portland's Trip-Pop Electro House/Breaks artist, Lightspeed has been working tirelessly to bring fresh sounds and energy to the nebula of Northwest EDM. His signature sound creates an atmosphere with synthy electro breaks on a terrestrial foundation of dark, grimy basslines. He became the father of Pulsar Productions (facebook.com/pulsarpdx) after being encouraged by his peers and fans to bring his local scene to the next level. Pulsar has since formed a kind of collective of people who fully contribute their talents to managing all facets of the company. With their help, Lightspeed is in his third year of throwing sold out dance parties for Northwest audiences.

His newest collaboration with Deformaty has landed them 1 EP on Serial Sickness, and two singles on VIM Records, with more secrets in the works. Recently, he has been producing and preforming remix edits of his favorite tracks and samples, while working with fellow producers such as Chris Cornish to release original work. Lightspeed is always pushing himself and his music to the limits of what's possible, which is where new discoveries are made.

STRIVE (One Eleven, CMP)
https://www.facebook.com/STRIVESGOTSWAGGER
https://soundcloud.com/strivesgotswagger

STRIVE was introduced to EDM early in 2006. It was a turning point in his life. He'd never experienced music that made him want to move...But after hearing some dope electronic beats he finally knew the joy of uninhibited dancing. Through the power of music and dancing he was able to cope with the tribulations in his life, and was compelled to share that gift with others. Today STRIVE is widely recognized as one of the best Electro House DJ's Oregon has to offer.

STRIVE is a serious lover of House Music. Hard Electro, Dutch, Fidget, Tech, Bassline,....His passion for the music is obvious, whether he's shuffling in front of a speaker or rocking the CDJ-S. Dirty House music is what captivates him, and it's the main weapon STRIVE uses to ignite dance floors. Be it a house party, an after party, an outdoor rave, a festival, or a warehouse banger, his energy is unrelenting, unmatched, and infectious.

2011-2012 proved to be whirlwind years for the young Portland DJ. 2011 saw STRIVE playing at every prominent EDM club in downtown Portland. He steadily smashed sets for virtually every prominent EDM production company in portland, slowly but surely earning a name for himself among Portlands most respected EDM DJ's as well as the party going public. In July of 2012 STRIVE was recruited into one of Portlands oldest and most successful EDM companies: Ground Breaking Events.

Amidst a sea of wannabe DJ's, STRIVE distinguishes himself with his refusal to use computers, his precision mixing, harmonic hijincks, track selection, and his ability to light up any dance floor with his energy behind the decks, STRIVE is guaranteed to leave you yearning for more.

DEFORMATY (OneEleven, BEatrox, Kick It)
https://www.facebook.com/deformaty
https://soundcloud.com/dj-deformaty

Rocking dancefloors since 1998, Deformaty has been an unrelenting, and powerful force in the Electronic Dance Music community. His music is often powerful and emotional, riddled with massive drops, huge builds, dirty basslines, and dreamy pads. People have been known to be overwhelmed to tears during some of his sets. He began to DJ in the Psytrance scene in Portland, playing Psychill, Downtempo, Lounge and Ambient, but his true passion lied in heavy energy genres, like Psytrance, DNB, Techno, and House. His skill as a DJ is impressive alone, often flashing some turntablism a midst smooth, flawless mixing, seemingly effortlessly on vinyl and digital medias. He has had a lifetime love and background with music, playing guitar and bass in Punk and Jazz bands, so EDM production came naturally to him, and eventually became a very versatile producer, pumping out quality Techno, House, Breaks, Dubstep, Trance, and DNB. He officially began releasing tracks in 2005, with 5 EPs released with the net label, Manifest NW, and a 3 track EP released in early 2012 with Sanex Music and Eastar Records, and is expecting releases with Kick It Recordings, Serial Sickness, and VIM Records this year. This DJ/Producer has made the industry his life, he lives, and breathes Electronic Dance Music.

VEIN (Pulsar,The Internet)
https://www.facebook.com/robvein
https://soundcloud.com/robvein

Rob never likd electronic music growing up. A follower of alternative grunge, industrial rock, numetal and east coast hip hop, raves weren't really his scene. A good friend finally convinced him to come with a drum n bass event in 1997 where he was exposed to tear out masters like technical itch and hive and ragga jungle legends like deejay rap and kenny ken and he was sold ever since. The events definitely finally felt like home but he was not content socializing and never had the motivation to dance. A long time friend sold him a pair of belt drive turntables and a bunch of dnb records and it sort of just took off from there, landing him his first weekly gig at a dnb patio night in 1999 to starting a successful production company in 2004. Since then, Rob has branched out from drum n bass into midtempo, dubstep, electronica and trip hop production and sets. Its rare to catch him spin one genre of music a whole set often relying on turntablism, on the spot mashups, heavy drops and carefully timed cross overs to kill tracks. Robs bootleg remixes to date have earned him over 5,000 free downloads and he has opened up for acts like REID SPEED, LOXY, DJ FRESH, BASSNECTAR, HULK, HIVE and many more slaying crowds of up to 7,000 heads.
