The Christians
An inland regional premiere of a play that explores the nature of how we deal with conflict. Pastor Paul presides over a mega church with a congregation of thousands. It is a congregation that will be deeply divided by the sermon that Pastor Paul is about to deliver. This will lead to an exploration of how we stay in relationships with people with whom we have major worldview differences, and if it is even possible.
The New Threads Theatre Company, having previously mounted such plays as "Oleanna," "Gods of Carnage" and "The Crucible," moves into the realm of site-specific production, as "The Christians" will be presented in a converted chapel.
