MANHATTAN SHORT Film Festival
in its 22nd year
Returns to Rockland!

10 short films from 7 countries were selected from 1250 submissions from 70 countries.

Films from France, Iran, Canada, Germany, and Finland
alongside two films from USA and a record three from the United Kingdom.

The MANHATTAN SHORT Final Ten are:
Nefta Football Club (France), Debris (USA), Driving Lessons (Iran),Tipped (Canada) Sylvia (United Kingdom), The Match (Finland), This Time Away (UK), Malou (Germany), A Family Affair (UK), At The End of the World (USA)

All Final Ten short films will become Oscar-Qualified, meaning they will become automatically eligible for an Academy Award nomination.

One World * One Week * One Festival
Screenings will be held in Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, South America,Central America, Canada, the Middle East and the USA.

YOU ARE A JUDGE!
Everyone will be handed a voting card. You select your favorite film. The winning film will be announced on Tuesday, October 9.
Many previous films have gone on to be Oscar nominees and winners.
