Hip Shakin' Daddys at Waynesville Music
When not playing Western Swing music, Helge Buflod is as close to being a cowboy as you can get in the new millennium. Frontman for the band "Hip-Shakin' Dadddys," his day job is training horses at HB Rockin' Ranch near Waynesville... but come evenings or weekends, he's armed with a Fender Telecaster in hand. Hip-Shakin' Daddys play an energetic brand of rockabilly in the tradition of Commander Cody and the Lost Planet Airmen or New Riders of the Purple Sage, music that's guaranteed to have you tapping you toe or shaking your hips.
Hip-Shakin' Daddys will be playing live at Waynesville Music on Saturday, November 2 at 7 PM. Tickets are $5 in advance at the store, 198 S. Main Street, Waynesville, Ohio or on-line at Brown Paper Tickets.
