ACS CONCERT 2
Get your new year off to a beautiful start with Albuquerque Chamber Soloists. Join us on Sunday, January 5 for a concert of music by Mozart, Caroline Shaw, Hugo Wolf, and Gabriel Faure. Our concert begins at 3:00 PM at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Come early for a pre-concert reception with refreshments from Napoli Coffee and a chat about the music with ACS cellist and president James Holland. The reception starts at 2:15 in the Fellowship Hall of St. Paul Lutheran.
We are delighted that pianist Judith Gordon will be making her debut with ACS! She and Megan Holland will open the concert with Mozart's delightful Sonata for Violin and Piano in B-flat Major. Two string quartets follow - Entr'acte, by the rising American composer Caroline Shaw, and Hugo Wolf's charming Italian Serenade, here performed by David Felberg, Laura Steiner and James Holland. The Hollands and David Felberg will join Judith Gordon for Gabriel Faure's sumptuous Piano Quartet in C Minor to end the concert.
