Motivated to form a small ensemble to play for his daughter, Byron Bernstine's creativity spawned the concept of duplication of instrumentalists to share the load that being in a band can bring, When a moment in time comes to perform, those that are available will "Plug-in and Play".
Plug and Play is a group of artists banded together out of the love for music. The founder, Dr. Bernstine, professionally a dentist, is a passionate trumpet player and vocalist.
Having a strong desire and talent, the founding members invested in helping make the dream come true. Asa Bernstine (audio/visual, cajon), Nia Bernstine (vocal), Richard Carroll (bass), and Fritz DeJean (percussion, saxophone, and vocal).
Knowing that there were others who had musical gifts as well as years of experience, knowledge, wisdom and a desire to play great music, the next wave of Plug and Players: Nathan Carroll (drummer), Sonia Kelsaw (vocal), Felicia Patrick (vocal), Brigitte Badea (vocal)
Through his love and admiration for the vocalist's God has given the band, Dr Bernstine was inspired to name the Plug n Play vocalists " Heaven Sent."
Feeling strongly that multiple genre's of music can be presented in the same musical set, you will hear smooth jazz, country, gospel, R&B , and pop, to name some. The common denominator is the music speaks of love, the complexities of relationships and the beauty of sonic language.
Their ministry is designed to take you on a melodic journey through the power of music.
