Unit A: The world of Art and Science Birds, Trees and Me
Wednesdays 3:30 to 5:30 pm

Explore and create trees and the birds that live in them. Well make bird feeders, take tree walk, make clay birds and paint birdhouses. Trees are the home to 100s of different species of birds on our planet.

Unit B: Clay Babble Dabble Do
Wednesdays 3:30 to 5:30 pm
November 6, 13 and 20, 2019
This is a messy, fun and feel good class. Why not make a bowl? Why not make a wind chime? Why not make an owl? Why not make an animal monster? Pinch, pull, press and pound. Roll, cut and paint. Let your talent shine!

Unit C: The Drawing Club
Wednesdays 3:30 to 5:30 pm
December 4, 11 and 18, 2019
Back to the drawing board! Dream and draw! Explore the art world of drawing sing markers, chalk, oil pastels, doodling, Zentangles and more! Express yourself through mark making and see the world in new ways. OCAC will provide a sketchbook that will inspire young artists to draw at home, in the car, in their bedroom, and at a friends house.

Unit D: Chinese Arts
Wednesdays 3:30 to 5:30 pm
January 8, 15 and 22, 2020
This class will celebrate the Chinese New Year! Adventure into the arts of China. Well try calligraphy, paper cutting, and lanterns.

Unit E: Peace Poles

Unit F: A New Way of Seeing - Photography
Wednesdays 3:30 to 5:30 pm
April 1, 8 and 15, 2020
Take a photographic journey to the streets. The class will venture into the art of photographing learning to see in new ways, observing shadows, line, shapes, reflections, details, and patterns. Each artist will be given their own camera provided by OCAC for the duration of the class. The last day will concentrate on creating a photo album including a professional portrait. Express yourself through photography. Find those creative moments that will last forever.
