Saving Those Who Save Others (8:45am 10:45am) A fire department suicide prevention/awareness course designed to educate attendees on warning signs/symptoms, communications, emotional and physical behaviors. -Signs & Symptoms, Stats, Group Discussion, Q & A Session
~AND~
An Internal Size-Up (11:00am 1:00pm) An in-depth First Responder behavioral health workshop dedicated to educating attendees on the awareness of stress, anxiety, PTSD, addictions, depression, anger and address suicide and retirement. -Signs & Symptoms, Addictions, Firefighter Suicides, Q & A Session Both of these courses are offered to all First Responders based off of the experiences of the 2018 California Wildfires. The target audience are those members/agencies who were affected by the wildfires, however all responders are encouraged to attend.
Light refreshments will be provided.
