Bourbon 200 - Fairview Heights

Our first series, Bourbon 101, was all about introducing everyone to the history and process behind Americas Native Spirit.
Bourbon 200 goes a step further, taking a deeper exploration into each of the different mash bills used in the production of popular brands. A typical bourbon mash bill contains at least 51% corn, rye and barley. This class will focus on High Rye Mash Bill bourbons, which have a much higher percentage of rye than traditional mash bill bourbons, resulting in a spicier flavor profile. Four different bourbons will be blindly tasted so that guests can learn the nuances of the traditional mash bill and perhaps leave with a new favorite.
