Shake the Hand that Feeds You 2019
This year's Shake the Hand that Feeds You menu will showcase food with integrity throughout central Ohio, as we invite you to experience flavors designed to match the beautiful fall scenery on the rolling hills of Granville.  Our progressive cocktail hour kicks off the evening with hors d'oeuvres aimed at highlighting the pasture-raised eggs of this year's Snailblazer award winner Copia Farm, as well as local, refined comfort-food style bites.  Available to pair with these offerings are a signature cocktail crafted by mixologist Nicolene Schwartz and beer selections from Homestead Beer Co.  Dinner will be served at Anderson Farms' Berkshire Barn, an old soul built from reclaimed material that used to shelter hogs in the early days.  Our multi-course, family-style-served entrées will showcase such ingredients as heritage breed pork, Copia hens, and a list of autumn crops and produce from nearby farms.  Wine pairings will be offered by Patrick Allen Selections, with breads by Dan the Baker to round out the meal. In support of the Ark of Taste, we also aim to feature items from Shagbark flours and Laurel Valley Creamery just to name a few.  We hope you can stay for the entire event which will conclude with dessert and the results of our annual silent auction!

This year's chef lineup includes:
*SFC Board Member, and advisor to Slow Food Reynoldsburg Schools, Trevor Horn
*Host and Ray Ray's Hog Pit founder [with his family] James Anderson
*Former opening executive chef of Comune and current executive chef of The Crest Ben Kanavel
*Sugar Magnolia founder and baker at Alchemy Kitchen Julie Dvorak
