D.C. & Co. hosts A One Love World Event with special guests, International ambassadors, Carlos Elliot & The Cornlickers
Lead by bandleader-songwriter Dave Costarella, D.C. & Co. have been performing and recording their brand of Horn-powered, Rockin' Blues. Swing, Funk & jazz through out the north east for over two decades.
Blues Access wrote "Leader, Dave Costarella, has a gritty style, a rocky soulful voice and a band to die for!" Dreamscape Records' president W. Christian Teiber says. "If you could find a definition of this band in the dictionary, it would be "Instant Party!"
Their 4 CDs have received rave reviews, and enjoy world-wide radio play. Their music has been featured on Major network television and in film.
Carlos Elliot is a band whose music is aimed at the whole society, promoting a look at ancestral traditions and sharing a message of union in community that transcends race, sex, age, origin, culture or belief, inviting the audience to seek their own truth and to use music to activate internal medicine. After a long musical journey, they arrive with the creation of an intense new rhythm that propels the body to ritual dance, mixing different musical genres, in what they call "Dancing Blues, Roots & Rock'nRoll".
Carlos Elliot Jr., band's leader, composer & singer is a native of Andes hills in Colombia, South America. He, like the band, has lived and experienced the Blues and Rock'nRoll right where it was created, in its cradle. Mississippi. Theyve been learning from the hands of legendary masters, regularly performing with the realest of the real for the last 10 years in the Delta and north Mississippi. The band is credited as pioneers of Hill Country Blues in Latin America and recognized as internationally acclaimed independent artists, completing extensive tours in 15 different countries in the last 3 years, playing in important festivals & stages in Europe, Asia, South, and North America.
They operate from Otún-Quimbaya, Colombia and Mississippi, USA, constantly touring, activating territories around the world, and supporting causes that are aligned with their vision. The band announces its fourth record production that will be released in summer 2019 by record label Right Coast Recording in the US.
