Beginning Small Farming and Ranching
Have you always wanted to get into farming or ranching? Are you already in farming but want how to start a farm the right way?
Join us for a 12-week course that will introduce all the things you need to know. Crop and animal production, pasture management, pest and weed management, farm insurance, marketing your production, farm record keeping, soil management and planning your farm. Learn from WSU Spokane County Extension staff and faculty and local farmers who are already doing what you want to do.
Class Dates:
Tuesdays 6-9:00 pm, September 24 to December 10, 2018 (No Class on November 26)
There will be two Saturday field trips to local farms. Dates to be determined by class participants.
