John Thomas, music director & pianist
Legendary composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim has written two dozen musicals during half a century of creativity. He has an Academy Award, 8 Tony Awards, 8 Grammy Awards, a Pulitzer Prize and more. The New York Times writer Frank Rich calls him the greatest and perhaps best-known artist in the American musical theater. Sondheim is the Great Music on Sundays @5 Broadway ensembles favorite musical theater composer/lyricist. The Sondheim concert is always spectacular and filled with well-known and obscure gems. We are thrilled to be presenting it again.
