Rope Operations
ROGUE FOOLS in association with RITA presents Rope Operations
Location: Rogue River Fire District, 5474 N. River Rd. Gold Hill, Oregon 97525
Dates: July 29-31, 2019
Time: 8am-5pm
Price: $300.00/person
This class is a certified Rope operations rescue class. It is taught using MFRs DPSST approved curriculum. Students will be introduced to and work towards becoming proficient at being part of a rope rescue team. Students will also initiate a task book for Rope Operations. If they already have one started, they will receive sign offs.
Requirements for the class:
Firefighter I
Prior ropes awareness is helpful
Equipment Needed:
Class II harness
Leather Gloves
Helmet (fire or rock helmet)
Extra Webbing if you dont have a harness (longer the better)
Water Provided by the FOOLS. Lunch will be on your own.
