Scholastic Read-a-palooza at Boswell

Registration has ended, but we'd still love to see you at Read-A-Palooza at Boswell.

Get a photo with Clifford or Dog Man.

Clifford will be at Boswell from 3 to 3:30 pm and 4 to 4:30 pm.

Dog Man will be at Boswell from 3:30 to 4 pm and from 4:30 to 5 pm.

Bring a book (or more) to donate to Next Door Books for Kids. If you buy books for donation, we'll sell them to you at 20% off the list price. This morning we donated 200 copies of Clifford the Big Red Dog to kids at the Next Door Centers. We had a great time!

Light refreshments - cookies from Melody Cookies.

We're next door to a Starbucks, which offers milk, juice, and water, in addition to coffee and tea drinks for adults.

We'll have a few impromptu story times during the afternoon.

Street parking is available. More availability is east and south of the store. Most spots are 2 hours, but some have longer times. There's also a surface lot two blocks north of us and a garage across the street - it does not take cash. And if you're planning to do a few other things on the block, please remember that the DPW tickets aggressively in the Downer area.

Our neighborhood is one of the loveliest in the metro area but it's still in the city of Milwaukee. Please don't leave valuables in your car.
