Swan Songs is an evening of musical magic where all the tunes, monologues, choreography and everything in between is completely made up on the spot! Its an original performance that has never happened before or will again! Swan Songs blends old-school improvisation, big Broadway musical theatricality and high-tech interactivity!

Youtube sensation, Swan (Sara Fisher) will take suggestions from the audience, with her amazing friend, Mike Descoteaux, on the piano. Together, theyll create spontaneous musical moments that challenge your expectations, move you to tears, tickle your funny-bone and have you rolling in the aisles.

This is sure to be a sell-out performance! And, quite literally, a once in a life-time event. What better way to spend a Saturday evening!

Sara and Mike have street-creds in spades. Well-known to Newburyport audiences, Sara Fisher is a graduate of the Second City Chicago Music Conservatory and iO Chicagos Improv Program (Yeah, the same place Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, and Mike Myers received their training). She trained in NYC at Circle in the Square and discovered the art of Improv while developing her physical acting skills.

Mike Descoteaux is the co-creator and executive music director for Off-Broadway's long-running hit, BLANK! The Musical. He served as Artistic Director of ImprovBoston and director of its prestigious main-stage cast. Mike was the founder and head of the music program at The Second City Training Center and music director of the Second City ETC stage in Chicago. Named one of the top young songwriters in the country by the Johnny Mercer & American Music Theater Project, his work has been seen on NBC, CBS, A&E, and WGN.
