Emmy Award winning Tonight Show Comedian Mike Dugan's "Men Fake Foreplay" is a hilarious exploration of the trials and errors encountered on the road to becoming a man in a 'boys-will-be-boys' world. What begins as a naive attempt to "figure out women" quickly shifts into a humorous and insightful tour of the male psyche, the male sex drive, and the cultural influences that shape a man's character.

Based on his book,"Men Fake Foreplay...and Other Lies That Are True",adapted by Dugan and director, Jolene Adams, Dugan's show takes an unflinching comedic look at men and their relationships with women. Mike Dugan has toured extensively throughout America, headlining comedy clubs and appearing as an opening act for musical artists such as Roy Orbison, Ricki Lee Jones, Chuck Berry, Harry Belafonte, John Hyatt and Shawn Colvin. Dugan also spent several years performing internationally in London, Paris, Amsterdam, Ireland, and Scotland, where he premiered "Men Fake Foreplay" for a month long run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He has written for many television shows, and received his Emmy Award for his writing on HBO's 'Dennis Miller: Live', and was also nominated for Cable Ace and Writers Guild of America Awards. Dugan has made over seventy national television appearances, and has the distinction of being one of only a handful of comedians to have performed stand up on the Tonight Show with both Johnny Carson and Jay Leno.
