Women's Legacy Fund Annual Luncheon

The Women's Legacy Fund 17th Annual Luncheon will take place from noon to 1:45pm on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at the Alex Madonna Expo Center, San Luis Obispo. We expect more than 700 passionate and influential women and men to attend this important annual event. We are very excited to announce our keynote speaker for this year's Women's Legacy Fund Luncheon is Tuti Scott.

Tuti Scott a consultant and coach to groups working on the front lines of social change. After a 30-year career in womens leadership, Title IX protections, and strategic philanthropy consulting, Tuti is focused now on engaging people in gender lens philanthropy and advocacy.

Listen to Tuti share stories with themes tied to being an advocate for women and girls including how to reflect, advocate, convene, invest, influence, and recognize discrimination against women and girls. You'll come away from this luncheon understanding the active role you can play in supporting and empowering women and girls in San Luis Obispo County and beyond.

Proceeds from this luncheon are added into the permanent endowment which will allow us to provide grants to our community into perpetuity. Last year our luncheon attendees raised more than $75,000 in donations and pledges for women and girls in need in San Luis Obispo County.

Since its inception in 2003, the Women's Legacy Fund permanent endowment has grown to more than $1.5 million, which has allowed us to award more than $400,000 in grants to nonprofit programs that benefit women and girls across San Luis Obispo County.

Tickets to the luncheon are $50 each or a table of 10 seats for $500. Please note that you will need to input all guest names and menu selections at the time of purchase. Dining options are a Fig & Feta Chicken Salad OR a Vegetarian Mediterranean Sandwich. The deadline to make ticket reservations is September 11th, 2019.
