GRIT: Family Ties
In this current political climate, it makes us think about who we are, what we stand for, and how we came to be this way. Our families have instilled strong values in us that we may hold tight to, or distance ourselves from. Family ties can be tight and solid, keeping us together, or messy and knotted. Either way, we are connected and it helps us establish who we are today. Family Ties explores these concepts through our family dynamics and relationships in dance.
Direction: Connor Cornelius, a MOMENTA alum. GRIT 2.0 dancers and choreographers: Maddie Ackerman, Connor Cornelius, Gabriel Huang, Kris Lenzo, Frances Pakulski, Diane VanDerhei.
Additional guest choreographers: Anita Fillmore Kenney, Drew Lewis, Susan Zeh.
