May 18th Farm to Table Dinner
This evening is set up to help showcase fresh products from local farms (within 100 miles) and from our own farm to help support the local food movement. Each dinner is prepared by a professional Chef. We would love to invite you to join our family at our farm for an amazing evening of food, wine, music, supporting local farms, and a beautiful atmosphere to just take a walk and enjoy the scenery.

You can take a walk around the farm, enjoy some live music by local artist, wine tasting with wine from Aubrey Vineyards, and an amazing 5-course meal prepared by a professional Chef. The May Chef will be Chef Jim Tinkham!

We are also so excited about the fact that each one of our Farm to Table Dinners we like to partner with an organization to support. Our May organization is the Shiloh Center. The Shiloh Center provides pregnancy tests, limited obstetrical ultrasounds, confidential peer counseling, pregnancy & parenting education and material resources to women and families in Cass County and beyond.  All services are free of charge.

Our menus are planned based off of what is in season, so we try to have our menu completed a few weeks out from the event. You will start off with an appetizer in our outdoor courtyard area (if weather permits). Then we move inside to our Farmhouse Room for salad, soup, main course and dessert! The dinners are so fresh and delicious! The Chef will also come out and talk about the different courses throughout the evening, and will also demo one part of the evenings courses. This is definitely an experience you do not want to miss out on!

May 18th Menu:
Appetizer upon arrival is Green Onion & Cilantro Hummus, Toast Points, along with Double Smoked Bacon & Cheese Fondue

Second Course: Potato Leek Soup, Crema & Fresh Chive Garnish

Third Course:Boston Bibb Lettuce & Spring Mix Duo with a Roasted Red Onion & Strawberry Balsamic Vinaigrette, Chili Roasted Missouri Pecans, Radish & Tomato Chiffonade, Gorgonzola Cheese Crumbles.

Main Course: Slow Roasted & Brined Pork Loin with a Strawberry Gastrique & Baby Portabella Mushroom Reduction, Blanched Asparagus with Goat Cheese & oblique cut sautéed Carrots, Sweet Potato Puree.

Dessert: Strawberry Shortcake with a Kayleigh Kahlua Cream Anglaise

Cost of Event:
$69/person + tax + tip (Donation amount to the organization will be separate) Ticket includes 5 course meal prepared by professional Chef and music throughout the evening by local artist. Reservations only. Tickets must be purchased in advance.

Wine Options (Aubrey Vineyards):
Wine Tasting Package: $10/person
(5 - 2 oz. pours of wines that are paired with each course)
OR
Wine by the glass: $7-$9
We also have Beer available from local breweries by the glass.

Arrive around 6pm. From time of arrival until 6:45pm enjoy appetizers in the courtyard, live music, and feel free to walk around the farm. Dinner will start at 7pm.

Must have reservations. Reservations due by Tuesday, May 14th, but you can always contact us to see if we still have seats available past that date.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
No, but ID will be required for purchase of any alcohol.

Will you have any options for vegetarians or vegans?
Sorry, this event is not a good choice for vegetarians, vegans, or gluten intolerant individuals. Since we are not a full service restaurant, this menu is set and we do not have the capacity to make appropriate substitutions to accommodate guests with these dietary restrictions.

Is there a dress code for this event?
No, but we do encourage you to dress accordingly if you are interested in taking a walking tour of our farm/garden. You may desire a jacket. We do have sidewalks and paths to the gardens, but will have to walk through some gravel.
