Lunch with a Leader: Lisa Stirrett

Leadership Kitsap Alumni Association's Lunch With A Leader series is designed to benefit all Leadership Kitsap Alumni. Join our regional leaders for lunch and hear the stories of their leadership journeys. The conversations will be organic, thought-provoking, and alumni-led. Lunches are quarterly. We will take the first 12 alumni to sign up.

Since 1988, Lisa's mission has been to inspire life through art. Her work has evolved and lends itself to beautiful interior and exterior art for personal, public or commercial use. It is also used to give back to both local and global causes. She started her artistic endeavors with gyotaku, proceeded to create with encaustic, metal, and then the versatile art of cast and fused glass. As an avid diver, much of her work has been to recreate the splendor of the Pacific Northwest waters and its unrestrained beauty. Passion for historical and primitive pictographs has also infused a flavor of distant cultures in her work. She is eclectic in her artistic nature and full of responsive and on target ideas. She uses recycled and repurposed items when creating much of her work and constructs scaled pieces that are not only stunning and durable but can stand the test of time. Public pieces nearly 20 years old still look new.

Since 2006 she has owned and operated a working glass studio, which is open to the public. In 2012, She moved her operation to a historical building in Silverdale, WA, which was built in 1946. She is blessed with an entire team dedicated to helping her create custom pieces for her clients and customers, as well as giving back to our communities.

Her greatest joy is to create relative, meaningful, and inspiring works of art.

While there is NO CHARGE for this opportunity for our alumni, if you do not show and do not cancel within 12 hours of the event, you will be charged $15 for your lunch. We anticipate a waiting list and people would value the chance to attend that were not able to be one of the first 12.
