Yi Triplett Concert to Benefit Oakland City Chorus

Renown soprano Yi Triplett and accompanist Dale Tsang present an evening of songs and arias. Music by Richard Strauss, Gabrielle Faure, Henri Duparc, and songs in Mandarin and Italian. Come support the Laney Choir (Oakland City Chorus) by enjoying beautiful music in the Odell Johnson Theater of Laney College.

A graduate of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Yi has performed solos by Mahler, Handel and others with local orchestras and is in demand as a recitalist both here and abroad.

Dale Tsang is on the faculty of the Laney College Music Department, an outstanding soloist and chamber music performer, as well as a leading accompanist in the Bay Area and beyond.

The Oakland City Chorus was founded at Laney College to provide opportunities for students and community members to perform in a variety of styles including: spirituals, world music, and classical music.
