Legal Age Reunion Together Again After 21 Years (Ron Edwards, Jon Erblich & Brian Curran)
Bottleneck Blues Guitarist Ron Edwards has been performing for over 40 years. Originally inspired by Mississippi Fred McDowell, he was taught his craft by Furry Lewis, Houston Stackhouse and J.B. Hutto. His forte is the rare smooth and clean bottleneck style of Tampa Red. For 22 years he was the main accompanist to St. Louis blues patriarch Henry Townsend. He has also worked extensively with piano legend SilverCloud and numerous other notable performers in the St. Louis community. He is an A.P.O. recording artist featured with Henry Townsend, Little Hatch and Jimmy D. Lane. To top off his extensive resume, since 1987 Ron has produced over 1,500 editions of Nothin But the Blues for KDHX 88.1 FM St Louis!
Jon Erblich (aka Johnny Diamond ) has been performing professionally for over 40 years as a featured harmonica player in numerous groups including The Rockin Luckys, Dusty Blues, The Blues Knights and Have Mercy Band. Jon was also a regular on stage in many of the St. Louis Harp Attack harmonica revues! Having shared the stage throughout his career with notable acts including Taj Mahal, Ronnie Earl, Albert Collins, Henry Townsend and more, Jon currently appears most often with Jeremy Segel-Moss and Kari Liston as part of Bottoms Up Blues Gang.
A devoted apprentice to the early Blues and Fingerstyle guitar masters. Brian Curran has been a mainstay on the local and regional music scene for over 20 years! Whether performing unique arrangements of obscure covers or heartfelt originals, Brian continues to carry on the traditions of Americas rich musical heritage, seamlessly blending the music of our past with a sound that is both fresh and inviting. Currently Brian is a guitarist and vocalist with local acoustic string band The Dust Covers and as a duo with Adam Andrews. He also continues to perform as a solo artist.
