Unfortunately, thats not always the case. In 2018, 113 people have been killed or injured in school shootings in the United States. Architects are addressing school safety through strategic planning and building design. Meanwhile, what other layers of safety can we add to ensure prompt first responder response? How can we employ artificial intelligence, data enhancement, and an internet of things to enhance safety protocols?
