Full of heart and wildly entertaining drag acts, The Legend of Georgia McBride follows the career change of Casey. First, an Elvis impersonator in a Florida bar, he becomes demoted to bartender and worries about how he will pay his bills and support his new family. His fortunes change when a member of the resident drag act passes out backstage and he is forced to go on in her place.
