You probably heard that The Highlander Centers Main Office in Tennessee burned down in Tennessee burned down. There was white supremacist graffitti sprayed around the parking lot. This historic gathering place in the struggle for civil rights and human rights is a place of spiritual renewal, organizing and solidarity.

If Pete Seeger were still with us, he would turn 100 on Friday May 3. Pete spent significant time at the Highlander Center, organizing, singing, and breaking bread with the principal figures of the Civil Rights movement.
