Taste the Rainbow Chakras 101

I have just finished teaching a successful seminar on the Chakra system at Bali Spirit Fest in Indonesia. During this class it dawned on me that people in NYC could really benefit from this work. This workshop on the Chakras will focus on the Seven chakras that are most commonly recognized by yogis. You will discover where each chakra is located in the body, its color, Sanskrit name, and what the tell-tale signs are if that chakra is out of balance. You will also learn the Bij Mantra for each chakra, which is a single syllable, and we will chant each seed mantra 108 times. This is a tool you can take with you to help bring the chakra you feel is the most out of balance back into balance over the coming months. If you dont want to chant you can just sit and feel the vibration of each mantra. Bring a notebook and something to sit on the floor on; chairs will be provided for those who would have trouble sitting on the ground for an hour.

There will be a led meditation at the end of this workshop.

This class is open to all, even though f you dont practice yoga or have no prior knowledge of the chakra system.
