AFFGS Education Event- An Intro to Trust-Based Relational Intervention

Adoptive Friends and Families of Greater Seattle (AFFGS) invites you and your family to join us for an introduction to Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TRBI). TRBI is a research and evidence-based parenting and intervention model created by child psychologists Dr. Karyn Purvis and Dr. David Cross. Built on three founding principles (connecting, empowering, and correcting), TBRI seeks to provide parents and caretakers with a framework that facilitates healthy attachment and healing.

Our guest speaker will be Bellevue-based therapist Krissy Perry (from http://eastsideplaytherapy.com/about), who will talk about how parents can implement the basic principles of TRBI at home.

All families are welcome and encouraged to attend, regardless of adoption type or status. Please come and learn!

FREE for AFFGS Members; $20 for Non-Members.

SUPERVISED CHILDCARE is available for children ages 1-10. Space is limited to 20 children. $10 for 1 child, $15 for 2 children, $25 for 3 children; $30 for 4 children.
