Dressy Bessy // Potty Mouth // Colleen Green
Dressy Bessy is an indie rock band from Denver, Colorado led by songwriter, guitarist, and vocalist, Tammy Ealom. The band is associated with the Elephant Six Recording Company and shares guitarist John Hill with The Apples in Stereo.
Dressy Bessy's first full-length release Pink Hearts, Yellow Moons (1999) was a mixture of beat group drums, infectious songs, and the odd burst of harmonium. Further releases included California EP (2000), Sound Go Round (2002), and 2003's Dressy Bessy, which incorporated a harder guitar sound. These albums were initially released on Kindercore Records of Athens, Georgia.
In 2005, the band signed to Transdreamer Records and recorded their fourth album, Electrified. The band released Holler and Stomp in 2008. Dressy Bessy released Kingsized on Yep Roc Records (CD, LP) and Burger Records (CS) in 2016, and their latest album will again be released on Yep Roc and Burger in early 2019.

Potty Mouth is a Western Massachusetts pop-punk band that formed in 2011 at Smith College. The band's original lineup was
Potty Mouth was formed by Ally Einbinder and Phoebe Harris, two Smith College students, in 2011. According to Einbinder, Harris thought of the band's name while on the toilet, unaware of the Bratmobile album of the same name.
In 2013, Potty Mouth released their first full-length album, Hell Bent, to positive reviews from critics. In 2015, they released a self-titled EP, which was recorded without Harris, who had departed from the band. During this time, they made a distribution deal with Alternative Distribution Alliance and gained attention from Atlantic Records. The band continued to tour in 2016, supporting Beach Slang's spring tour. In July, the band, along with new guitarist Aurore Ounjian, played at Lollapalooza, and two years later, they opened for The Go-Gos at the Fox Theatre in Oakland, California.
Their second album Snafu was released on March 1, 2019, with two singles - 22 and Starry Eyes - issued in January and February.
Einbinder and Weems have expressed disapproval of the labeling of the band as riot grrrl, speculating that the association may have been due to the low fidelity of their early recordings. Pitchfork reviewers compare the band's sound to pop-punk and post-punk with vestiges of surf music.

Colleen Green is an American indie pop musician from Los Angeles, California. She is currently signed to Hardly Art Records.
Green released her first album, Milo Goes to Compton, in 2011, through Art Fag; it was originally released as a cassette tape. Her sophomore release, Sock It To Me, came out in 2013, now through Hardly Art. Green's third album, I Want to Grow Up, her first release to be recorded with a band in a studio, was released in February 2015 to widespread critical acclaim, and is her most commercially successful album to date as well.
In September 2015, Green was voted Best Solo Artist by the readers of LA Weekly. Her song "Wild One" was featured on the Netflix series Love. Green has toured through almost all continents, playing concerts in Brazil, Japan, Canada, United States, Australia, as well as several countries in Europe. Green hand draws her merchandising and tour posters.
