Opera and Broadway of the Hamptons 2019: Cristina Fontanelli and Her Fabulous Friends
Annual concert (chosen by NEWSDAY, Long Island's leading newspaper, as Pick-of-the-week in 2018!)continues the 29-year tradition on the North Fork of Long Island honoring the memory of Long Islands Pioneer of the wine industry, Dr. Herodotus Dan Damianos and his son Jason. Performance features World-class artists, plus local high-schoolers singing Broadway favorites and provides tickets for Veterans and underprivileged families.
Annual concert highlighting the great arias, duets and Broadway songs of the world. Join Award-winning singer/PBS-TV and CBS-TV host, Cristina Fontanelli "Vocal genius" (NY Sun) and her invited world-class guest artists: including audience favorite, baritone Ricardo Rivera, Tenor Riccardo Meri and local young talent to be announced. Taking place in the beautiful indoor Duckwalk Vineyard tasting room built by Long Island's pioneer of the wine industry, Dr. Herodotas "Dan" Damianos. Duckwalk Vineyard wines are nationally known and their Blueberry Port has developed an iconic following!
Be lifted up by the beautiful strains of the world's most-loved music. Musical selections chosen from the "chestnuts" of the Opera including Madame Butterfly and La Boheme, Broadway favorites from West Side Story and current hits such as Hamilton and classic and popular songs in Italian and Spanish, plus Neapolitan songs!
Come early and enjoy the wine tasting at Duckwalk before the concert - tasting room open until 5:30 p.m.! Bring a delicious repast dinner and dine "al fresco" on the lovely outdoor patio, then come into the tasting pavilion and enjoy this much-loved, annual concert.
