Variable Pop Dance Class
A week-long celebration of movement for wellness, expression and community. This class with dancer/choreographer Naomi Goldberg-Haas, Artistic Director of Dances for a Variable Population, provides cross training between fitness and the expressive language of dance. The class includes full body warm-up from jazz and modern dance forms; multi-directional movements benefiting joint mobility; mentally stimulating requiring focus on co-ordination and learning of movement patterns; body-mind connection through structured movement improvisation; an excellent cardiovascular workout and dynamic stretch. A variety of popular to world music accompanies class. Appropriate for adults of all ages and abilities. Sneakers, flexible shoes, dance shoes or barefoot.
