WILLITS Contemporary Jazz-Influenced pianist Dan Kennedy continues his "Follow Your Intuition" 2013 Tour with a live concert open to the public at the Willits Community Theatre, 37 W. Van Ln., Willits, CA 95490. The time of this show is 8:00 pm. Originally a classically trained composer and pianist, Dan routinely plays coffeehouses, theaters, and house concerts across the country. Dan's piano music has been produced by the legendary Will Ackerman producer of George Winston, Philip Aaberg, and Scott Cossu.

The awards are starting to rain in. Dan's latest album INTUITION received a 2012 Top 10 Album award from John P. Olsen, an Audiosyncracy "Best of 2012" selection, and an RNA Video of the Month award for his video ''Could Be.'' Currently Dan's album is #8 on the ZMR Chart, an international listing. Claims Mr. Olsen, "Dan Kennedy, who began his career playing in coffee shops, delivers a wonderfully diverse atmosphere on his newest release 'INTUITION.'"

When INTUITION was recorded originally, Dan's Grammy Award winning producer Corin Nelsen enlisted veteran session musician Steve Holley (who's worked with Paul McCartney, Elton John, Ian Hunter). Out came not only an old wooden tambourine that was used by The Beatles on "Day Tripper" and "We Can Work it Out," but the actual claves employed on "And I Love Her." These percussion instruments can now be heard on Dan Kennedy's current album INTUITION. "The FOLLOW YOUR INTUITION 2013 TOUR is my first concert in the great state of California," says Dan. The tour will have started in Montana, hitting Washington and Oregon, and winding up in Willits, then Oakland.
