Beer B Que Pairing Dinner, Waterloo, IL

We're thrilled to announce a brand new part of Beer-B-Que this year, our Beer/BBQ Pairing Dinner on the courthouse grounds! This will be a 5 course pairing meal prepared by the best local breweries and BBQ restaurants our area has to offer. A restaurant and a brewery were paired up together to create one of the 5 courses. We'll have a salad, appetizer, 2 meat courses and a dessert course!

Dinner is served by members of the Waterloo Optimist Club and The Ferm Homebrew Club at 6:30 PM on the sidewalks leading up to the Monroe County Courthouse. Each pairing will be announced and described to you by the chef and brewer, when possible, why they believe the pairing works well together or why they chose that certain pairing. You'll get plenty of great beer and lots of delicious food during the meal and then the real fun begins! Tim Brueggemann will be playing live music (80's, 90's, 00's rock, alternative, country) on the bandstand for your enjoyment from 7-10 PM and you'll be able to walk the Beer B Que festival grounds and watch the BBQ teams get set up and fire up their smokers! This was one our favorite things to take in about last year's Beer B Que, and we HAD to share it with you!

Proceeds benefit the Waterloo Optimist Club, and allow them to continue working for the good of the youth in our area. Tickets are $50 per person.

Tickets are limited and will sell out. Get yours early! You won't want to miss this unique opportunity to enjoy a relaxing, delicious 5 course meal and take in the sights and smells of the Beer B Que competition getting set up.
