RUSSIAN PANCAKE WEEK EVENT - MASLENITSA
On March 16th we are going to celebrate a Russian Pancake Week MASLENITSA at Russian Children Studio!
Children any age will have a chance to see a traditional performance, with whistles, pipes, songs and dances. We will learn and sing the spring callings, play dance and song games and dance peasant dances.
The concert and master class will be held by special guest Valentina Kvasova. Originally from Rostov-on-Don, hereditary Cossack. Professional dancer and singer. Engaged in the study of folklore. Performs songs from different regions of Russian regions using traditional instruments.
We will taste hot sweet pancakes prepared by Baba Martha.
Come on Saturday and bring friends!
