Courtney Goldie Jackson, a native of Raeford NC, has come a long way from chasing cows on her fathers farm. Courtney has worked with some of the Hollywoods biggest stars, traveled as a stand-up comedian and worked with at-risk youth and veterans in her community. In 2010 she moved to Brooklyn NY to further her comedy career and also landed a job as an AmeriCorps Peacekeeper for the Harlem Childrens Zone. The job changed her life! She returned to school, and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2015 with her second Bachelors degree in social work and received her MSW in 2017. Courtney currently works as an outpatient therapist with substance abuse and mental health clients near her home. She also volunteers as a Sunday school teacher and is a court advocate for foster kids across the state of North Carolina.
