Ground, Body, Breath, Space The Art of Knowing Support
Buddhist teachings emphasise the importance to look inward to understand, inquire and examine what moves us, binds us and frees us as human beings. They invite us to be present to our whole being, with its inner landscapes of interplaying sensations, emotions, and movements of mind. To do this important, courageous and liberating work it is helpful to know and to be able to access that what can support us. We may discover that a wide and varied range of resources can be found and known in our experience moment by moment.
During our day together we will explore creative ways to perceive ground, body, breath, space and gesture as possible resources, as means to support, hold and nourish us in our practice and in life.

KIRSTEN KRATZ has practised Buddhist meditation in Asia and the West since 1993. In 2006 she started to teach and since 2008 facilitates group retreats in Gaia House where she also supports those on long-term personal retreat. One of her particular passions is exploring how wisdom teachings can foster appropriate responses to the challenges of our time; she is co-initiator of the Dharma Action Network for Climate Engagement (DANCE) and one of the guiding teachers of Freely Given Retreats (www.freelygivenretreats.org/).
