Drawing on a decade of collaboration, Joseph Decosimo and Luke Richardson convey the joy and power of Old-time music in intimate duet performances with fiddle, banjo, harmonica, guitar, and voice. They explore possibilities for nuance, mystery, and creativity in beautiful old fiddle tunes, banjo pieces, and songs. Their performances invite listeners into the deep repertoires and idiosyncratic stylings of an older generation of Old-time musicians, especially musicians from their native Tennessee. Both Joseph and Luke are national banjo champions and prize winning fiddlers. They have toured at home and abroad in their blue ribbon winning band the Bucking Mules.
