"miscellaneous episodes of being alone, together" is an evening-length work comprised of episodes that reveal different relationships revolving around one theme: feeling lonely with someone(s). This excerpt exposes the darkness of an intimate relationship that these two characters are desperate to hold onto. Exploring how we rely on the dreaminess of falling in love to push us through what is no longer good for us. Later revealing ourselves to the ugliness of what we have become and how we cannot repair what has broken us in the first place.
