Adult Pizza Party: Day Peace

Adult Pizza Party is a monthly comedy show that features some of the Midwest's best comics and Des Moines' best pizza. Admission includes the show and an all-you-can-eat pizza buffet. Drink specials also available. This month's show features headliner Day Peace and Justin Bulver. Hosted by Tommy Morgan, Jr..

Day Peace

Born and raised on the west side of Detroit, Michigan, Day Adam Peace didn't start doing stand-up until he moved to Minneapolis, MN and took the stage at Acme Comedy Club, one of the best clubs in the Twin Cities.

He has opened for national Headliners like Richard Pryor's daughter Rain Pryor, Quinn Dhale, Mike Malone, Bruce Jingle and Chris Bennett, and has had the opportunity to share the stage with famous comedian, Ron White. Day has performed at several well- known clubs, such as Cracker's Comedy Club in IN, Joke Joint in MN, The Comedy Spot and Stand Up Live in AZ and the recently closed and world-famous Tempe Improv AZ, just to name a few. He has also Headlined and hosted shows, competed in comedy contests.and won.

He can be heard on I-Tunes with other talented, local AZ comics as a self-proclaimed Internet Champ or Net Champ (free download). Among other things, he has carried over his HS and professional acting classes on stage as well. Some of his acts can be seen on his YouTube page, Comedian Day Day. He can be seen on stage doing improv and talking directly with the crowd.

Day's topics range from fears of having his first child, meeting celebrities like Lance Armstrong, Chris Brown and his icon, Martin Lawrence, to accidental racism and growing up without a father. He is an honest, high energy, entertaining amateur comic who takes the experiences of real life pain and turns them into jokes.
