A Day at the Museum
Why is there an Egyptian museum in the middle of San Jose? Join us on an afternoon at the Rosicrucian Museum, home to the largest collection of Egyptian artifacts on exhibit in Western North America. Join us as we explore a composite replica of an ancient Egyptian rock-cut tomb, based on photos and sketches taken by Rosicrucian expeditions to tombs at Beni Hasan, which will give you the experience of being in such an excavation. Plan on going to the 2pm Planetarium movie, Journey to the Stars. Please meet at the Centennial Recreation Senior Center Lobby at 11:45am after an early lunch and we will go up by bus. The bus will return at approximately 5:00pm back to the CRC. Water and snacks will be provided.
