Tea Ceremony and Plant Spirit Divination
From its origins in the sacred mountains of ancient China, Cha Dao, or The Way of Tea emerged from a philosophy that honored simplicity, balance and gratitude. Traditionally, the practice of drinking tea was used as both plant medicine and as a way to cultivate mindfulness and an awakened presence. Join Andrea Jannotta in a tea ceremony that will open you up to a greater inner harmony and a deeper connection to yourself, each other, and to the world as a whole. We will first talk about the history and philosophy of tea culture and then you will experience the calming ceremony that you can apply to your daily life as a way to feel more grounded and to fully enjoy each moment.
In addition to the many healing aspects of the beloved plants,they carry within themselves timeless wisdom. Following the tea ceremony, we will tune in and listen to the messages that the plants have for us through the use of plant spirit divination cards.
