2013-Texas Hustlers' Boot Camp & Invitational Scrimmage

The Savannah Derby Devils will host a day of derby on Saturday, August 17 including an 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. boot camp by the Texas Rollergirls' Hustlers, a 5 p.m. public scrimmage and a 7 p.m. bout between the Derby Devils and the Hustlers.

The Hustlers will lead the morning boot camp for skaters, referees, coaches and observers at the Savannah Civic Center arena. Skaters are invited to participate in the Savannah Derby Devils' 5 p.m. "Back to School Brawl" scrimmage open to the public pitting Team Red against Team Black. Everyone is invited to stick around and cheer on fellow skaters for the 7 p.m. headliner bout between the Savannah Derby Devils All-Stars and the Hustlers.

The cost is $25 and includes free admission to the double header. The deadline to register is Wednesday, July 31.

Check in will start at 10:30 a.m. On skates participants must provide proof of WFTDA insurance and wear all WFTDA-required protective gear. Skaters who sign up for the 5 p.m. scrimmage need to bring one red shirt and one black shirt with their derby number and name printed on the back per WFTDA regulation. Please bring your own water bottle.
